Benjamin Liao
Biography
Mr. Liao is a PRC attorney with over 10 years’ experience of legal practice. He is one of the young talents of foreign-related lawyers of Guangdong Lawyers Association and Shenzhen Lawyers Association, and a member of Corporate Law Committee of Shenzhen Lawyers Association. He passed the Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination of Hong Kong Law Society, and was admitted as a Solicitor by High Court of Hong Kong in 2025. He has rich experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution inbound and foreign-related. He also provided legal counsel service to foreign-funded enterprises, listed companies, international schools, etc. His current main practice areas include civil and commercial dispute resolution (inclusive of foreign-related matters), corporate legal counsel, corporate compliance.

CYP v LSZ — a matter heard before the Supreme People’s Court of the PRC concerning a dispute over the transfer of shares, in which Mr. Liao represented the respondent.

LJZ Trust Company v HZ Company & others — a matter heard before the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration concerning a dispute over a RMB 500 million trust loan, in which Mr. Liao represented the applicant.

EB Limited v FLT Limited & others — a foreign-related matter concerning a dispute over an international sale contract, in which Mr. Liao represented the plaintiff.

YJL Limited & others v YX Limited, ZYX & others — a matter heard before the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration concerning a dispute over investment agreements, in which Mr. Liao represented the investors.
